Gigi said Nice but. When I first read the premise to this book, I thought it would be something I would really like to read. After reading the samples pages, I was no longer sure that that was the case, since I found it a bit slow and it wasn't really capturing my imagination as a book,so I decided to pass, but then read a review of it, and changed my mind, hoping that I was wrong and it would pick up speed. It didn't.Although Annabel was a true inn. "To Be or Not To Be a Wife" according to Karen Entzminger. A love story that's poignant, funny, and mysterious. Loving parents and horrible parents. Good persons and a couple bad ones. A great plot that allows for humor and excitement. The characters are well-described. The erotic romance scenes fit the plot well. There is a Highland Book 2, but I wish there were a book in between that is about Ross and Annabelle in between the two books. That would be icing on the bookcake.. Biosbiz said Best read in SOOO long. This was the best book I've read in a long time! Just enough conflict to keep the story moving at a nice pace, but it's outside the growing love of the main characters. Not having to deal with a negative conflict between main characters, kept me reading for hours! It was uplifting to have the action not bogged down. Lots of love, fun, and positive emotions! Highly recommended!
