A Master Teacher deelited2 This was my first Caroline Myss book and I have since read--and heard--most of her others. I have put off writing a review until now, frankly because I wasn't sure if I could convey the tremendous impact her words and teachings have had in my life. (Actually, I think I just did!)You may not agree with every single point she brings up and out, but that is part of it's strength: She makes you think, probe, ponder, contemplate and eventually assimilate her truths, along with so many others that speak the same, into your own life.Caroline is a teacher in the finest sense: Her boo. and the fact that something like that even existed Krysta Capone I connected deeply with this book. It opened my eyes to being medical intuitive, and the fact that something like that even existed. I personally have had experiences with receiving medical impressions, but never knew it could be used in such a great way! I also connected with how Myss brings together the mind, body and spirit as a whole unit. How she breaks down that dysfunction in all areas can cause disease. With losing a parent to cancer, and seeing how much this book helped me relate to his dysfunctions. I wish I could have known some of these things then, but I am happy. Until reading this book, I was miserable at work--to the point where I was having frequent nose bleeds and migraines. My job was very stressful and damaging to my health. Couple that with I was not happy with the work I was doing for others and I was on a one way path to a stroke or heart attack. Those who are squeamish with the notion of biography affecting biology will find this book a struggle (in one chapter, Myss links pancreatic cancer with a man's refusal to unburden his life and start fulfilling his dreams). Fortunately, Myss is a skilled writer as well as researcher, able to ground her extensive spiritual and religious discussions by using real-life stories and a tight writing style. For example, when describing the seven energy fields of the human body, she fuses Christian sacraments with Hindu chakras and the Kabbalah's Tree of Life. Many, however, hail Myss for creating a valuable contribution to the ongoing exploration of spirituality and health. What sets Anatomy of the Spirit apart is Carolyn Myss's ability to blend diverse religious and spiritual
