"An excellent text for amateur growers." according to Joyce Stork. I use this book constantly when diagnosing plant diseases in African violets. The language is scientific and can be a bit daunting, but non-scientists like me can learn a great deal. The photo section is very specific and helpful. No cures are listed, but once a grower knows exactly which disease is active, it is easier to search out the cure. I heartily recommend it!. Very informative. I really enjoyed the book. It is very informative. Just a little too technical for me, but it helped a great deal.
