I was liking it OK until they threw in the half-brother incestuous relationship there at the end Which lost it a half star. It lost one star for the way the story was laid out, I hated the way it started off with an established relationship and then went back to explain how it happened with this back and forth time period chapter skipping thing It was really annoying, I would have preferred it to have been more straightforward, it would have made it easier to follow and better to read. It lost another star for the terrible editing mistakes So overall I gave this book "Well." according to Amazon Customer. Or it would be unique if Chris wasn't a detective of the supernatural in a City ruled by a storm demon. And as for Chris White himself? Well, he's not exactly a normal either. The son of a black witch and a ghost, he can become transparent and walk through solid objects, an ability that comes in handy if you are a detective. Doug, a free imp is his friend and co detective, a situation that came about from one of Chris' first cases. No case is refused, whether it be a missing normal, a sleeping alchemist
