A lesson for any child without a parent around that you make your own decisions in life and your own future. He did have a wild side in his teen years and could have gone a different direction entirely. Applaud people of Hawaii that saw a young man with future potential and invested in him. Credit also to his grandparents for assisting in his raising. No matter what so many say I think he has been a good president. Simply love this book Lesly Lopez Simply love this book! I have a high admiration for our current President, Obama and reading about his childhood, his struggles as a color child in mix family, his missing father and the impact his parents marriage had on the way he perceives is very interesting. I can definitely understand better his life now, and why he got so far and became the most important man in the world!
