Great first book on the ketogenic diet! Great first book on the ketogenic diet. I've been hearing about it on podcasts and health blogs so I needed a better knowledge of the concept. It seems to be a fairly simple idea cut the carbs, right. The book also explains graphically how to measure my calorie needs and how much of it will be protein vs carbs, etc. I'll admit it, I needed a calculator but it fairly easy. I was astonished when I lost six pounds in the first two weeks by just saying "no" to carbs that are not on the approved. Good basics and well written This book was very helpful in getting started with the Keto way of eating. It was well written and we'll organized.
