Five Stars Good book to have for info.. "Salisbury Plant Phys" according to David Livingston. Excelelnt text. I took Plant Phys from Ross at CO State in the late 80's, just after he and Salisbury published thier first edition. Ross was an excellent instructor and did a masterful job on the original version. This version is a superb update.. maybe if I give it 3 stars. I am thinking maybe if I give this 3 stars then they will quit sending me emails that my 1 star review is being rejected because of whatever possible reasons that they don't specify. I got my product that I ordered in good time, but it was a 1978 version of the product. The book was detached from the spine and the pages had brown stains on it. The cover was even different than the one advertised. I sent it back, and Amazon gave me a full refund.
The text provides a broad explanation of the physiology for plants (their functions) from seed germination to vegetative growth, maturation, and flowering. It presents principles and results of previous and ongoing research throughout the world.
