Four Stars nice. "A fabulous resource" according to Amazon Customer. I am an art therapist and adult counselor at a facility that serves individuals who struggle with chemical dependency. I find this book to be an incredible resource for myself and the patients in my art therapy groups. The book offers both art directives and writing prompts that are paired with each of the 12 Steps. I believe that each of the art directives are tailored appropriately with each step, which helps to increase understanding of the goals/objectives of the step. I have received positive feedback from patients regarding the art directives and find the layout of the book to. mindy said a wonderful tool. This book is a resource that pairs art therapy with recovery from addiction or substance abuse in a creative and helpful way. There are varied art therapy exercises paired with each of the twelve AA steps.
