Don't be Lonely with this book! At first I was a little bit wary of The Lonely Hearts Club. The opening chapter is great – especially when it turns out Jo is being fired by her DAD of all people. That’s quite hilarious, and a bit sad, too, but for the next couple of chapters not a lot happens and it mainly focuses on Jo and her relationship with Jesse, her boyfriend of two years. As soon as he was out of the picture, the novel really ramps up the pace, and I found myself completely ensconced in the novel. Janowitz writes what a breakup feels like at the corethe pain, the sadness and the disbelief. But she does so with a main female character that is both strong and weak, determined and disheartened, wonderful and flawed. Janowitz captured ans fleshed out a great lead that did not need to be a damsel in distress, but a woman out to turn things around on her own accord. Rock on Janowitz, rock on!!!! 5 stars. So when Jo is fired and her boyfriend breaks up with her, Jo doesn’t get upset she just wants to rage. Now the poster girl for lonely hearts and writing music

Recommended for new adult romance fans." --Library Journal"Very entertaining." --Chick Lit Club"The Lonely Hearts Club is a great light read, meant for anyone who loves a good romantic story with some dramatic flair. I liked how the story was delivered, and how imperfect (Jo) was. There are so many other things I could mention that added up to The Lonely Hearts Club being an interesting and relatable reading experience but then I don't want to spoil it for you. The series of hard knocks Jo suffers shake her out of her all-too-comfortable rut in a way that makes her a heroine worth following. Taking your pain and tu
