The second was on audio, which worked better for me for this book.It's well-written and the world-building is remarkable, but I sometimes felt characters and story elements were in service of displaying the world-building.And there is a major flaw common to mirror-world/parallel-word stories, but especially prominent in this book: The point of divergence for the two parallel worlds featured in the story was either 500 .
